I Love Fall!

I love it for the beautiful variety of colors.

I love it for the brisk cool weather.

I love it for the pumpkin spice coffee, and pumpkin flavored everything for that matter!

I love it for caramel apples.

I love it for hayrides.

I love it for picking apples (which I haven't done in so long!)

I love it for campfires.

I just plain love it!

And I can't wait until Saturday because I have the day off and I am going to Buell's Orchard with Sam and Deanna and Kayleigh and Kenzie!

I'll be sure to take lots of pictures so this blog is a little more interesting :)

I Gave In

So that pumpkin spice coffee that I mentioned I was craving in my last post...ya. I gave in ;) I figured I have to stop and pick up apple cider for young group anyway, why not just swing but good old DD?! I guess it was completely in the opposite direction but hey!

My New Abode

So I said I was going to clean this weekend and take pictures and post them...so I guess I felt I had to stick to my word :) Well, I really did need to clean. I actually wanted to clean because for some reason rainy days make me want to clean...I guess that's a good thing. Except when it's nice out for too long, then you might not want to stop over :)

Today was Aunt Martha's funeral so I went to that and then came home, made myself a nice large mug of pumpkin spice coffee (which I'm craving again!) turned on my Christmas music (yes I said Christmas!) and set to cleaning and organizing. Once I get in the mood I can't be stopped!

I think most of the pictures can speak for themselves.

Josh and Kate this picture is for you...my Christmas present goes very well on the bathroom wall :) Love it!

One of my walls is slanted because the house is a cape style. The whole slanted part is cork-board so I printed out a bunch of pictures and started hanging them up. I ran out of tacks though so I guess I'll be finishing later.

Sorry about the fuzzy picture. My camera isn't the greatest quality.

Here we have my wallpaper...yep...fishermen! :) It's just on one wall though.

So there you have it. My apartment that I love! :) I'm not done with my room and decorating and everything so I might post updates every once in a while. In the meantime you might as well just come see it in person, it's so hard to tell what it really looks like with pictures ;)

I Love My Job!

I also love the crazy customers who come with it!

So we have this one customer who comes in literally every day...and he spends anywhere from 10 minutes to 2 hours in the branch. He spends most of his time at the writing desk in the middle of the branch "figuring things out" and "getting caught up". He usually asks for 2 presidential dollar coins, sometimes this is all he comes in for. On other days he will ask for a nice 50 or 100 dollar bill or he might ask if you have any old bills. Then on Thursdays he cashes his check and makes a deposit into his holiday club account.

Today he came in and spent quite a while "figuring things out". He came up to my station and asked me if I had any nice hundred dollar bill. So I looked through my bills and came up with a nice one for him. He slowly counted out his ten, ten dollar bills to give me in exchange. Then he went back to the writing desk, carrying everything but the kitchen sink because he can't leave anything on the writing desk while he's at the teller line because someone might want to steal something of his!

He's over there for a while and he comes back up to my station. He asks if I have a nice fifty dollar bill. So I look some more and find him a nice fifty. He gives me five more tens. He goes back to the writing desk. He comes back up to my station and hands me a twenty and wants two tens...um...ok...didn't you just give me fifteen tens for your hundred and fifty??? Whatever. So I give him his two tens and he hands me two twenties and one of the tens I just gave him and asks for another nice fifty. Oh goodness didn't I just give you that ten??? Why are you giving it back now??? So I find another nice fifty and then he proceeds to pull another twenty out of his pocket and asks for 2 presidential gold dollars. So I give him the dollars along with...guess what!!! a ten that he gave me and I gave him and he gave me and now I'm giving it back AGAIN!!!

I know that was a long story but I thought it was pretty humorous...I actually wrote it all down after he left because I didn't want to forget exactly how many times we exchanged THE SAME money!!!

Then as my day is coming to a close this couple walks in. Grandpa and Granddaughter??? No maybe not that much of an age gap. Dad and Daughter? Ya they look like they could be a Dad and a daughter besides the fact that he is American and she is Asian...maybe she's adopted. They want to open an account together...okay lots of people put their parent(s) on their account. I start having a conversation with them and hey guess what!!! They're getting married!!! I gag and keep working on the account. They leave and I look at their birth dates...yep 20 years apart...he could be her dad!!! He was OLD too...not just middle age...OLD.

So yes those are just a few of my lovely customers :) Never mind all the smelly ones!

What Has Happened...

...since April. Hmmm. A lot I suppose but I'm not sure you are all interested in everything that has happened in my life.

I transferred to a new branch at Rockville Bank the end of February (which I know is before April but I never posted about that) and am still loving it! I'm hoping to take some classes (for free I might add) through the bank to help me become an assistant manager or manager someday!

I have lots of new friends in the young group which is so nice! It's been so encouraging to have so many new converts, they've brought life back to our young group that was starting to dwindle due to too many weddings! I think we've almost made up the numbers from all of the weddings with our new converts!

I went to IL 2 times.

I'm still waiting for a lot of people to come visit me ;) You all know who you are!

I moved into an apartment with my cousin Sarah Virkler (Hi Sarah!) ;) I will post pictures (maybe this weekend) after I clean :)

I've started a business with Shaklee and I'm super excited to get it off the ground and running. Can't wait to get my car payment and a free trip to Mayan Riviera next year!

Want to see a picture of the car I want to get??? Cause I'm excited about it!

Nice huh?

I kinda like it ;) Sam doesn't like it but you know what, that doesn't matter because he won't be driving it! :)

Hmm...I don't really know. I guess I'll just pick it up from here on out and keep updating with pictures and stories of my most exciting life! Or not so much :) But keep checking in because I'm really going to try to take more pictures of things I do and post more often...hopefully!

Well Hello Blog...

...I realize I've kind of fallen off the face of the earth. I wonder if anyone reads my blog anymore...

I thought I'd try to upload a few random pictures and see if my computer miraculously fixed itself...we'll see. If it did then maybe I can start blogging again! Not that a blog only consists of pictures but I think it's more interesting with pictures especially since I'm not a very good storyteller ;)

60%...62%...65%...77%...this is suspenseful...84%...89%...you watch it probably won't work! 93% ALMOST THERE!!! KEEP GOING KEEP GOING!!! 99%!!!!! It worked!!!! I can't even believe it! Well there we have it...I'll do a post about everything I've missed since my last post but probably not until tomorrow night since it's already past my bed time :)

Oh and by the way I'm really not as crazy as I look in these pictures ;)

These two though...ya...it kinda explains itself. "Hey Julie your short bus is still waiting!!!" :)

This here is a lovely sand castle we made on our family vacation in Cape Cod this year. Impressive huh? Or not so much ;)

Since I can't get my computer to upload pictures from FL I figured I would share the shutterfly book I made. It's probably better than if I had just done a post :) Enjoy!
