Chilly Saturday

Thought a little quote from Piglet would sum up this day:
"I don't mind the leaves that are leaving. It's the leaves that are coming."
Today we (the Young Group) did spring yard clean up for a few people from church with the bible class. We had fun! at times it seemed like the leaves were endless and we would never be done raking, but before long it was time for lunch. We ended up at Eddie and Alma's and we ate there around a big fire. (It was FREEZING!!) Had quite a few laughs despite the fact that our toes and fingers practically fell off. :)
After, Rebekah and I went up Soapstone with her little nugget of a dog. He thoroughly enjoyed himself! The view was nice at the top. Its a very clear day so we could see really far, but something was wrong with her camera and the focus was off, so its hard to tell. We did an actual trail so it was harder, but not very long. We wanted something interesting, but we didn't want to be out all afternoon... :) We had to be really careful because there were leaves everywhere and they were slippery, but no one fell!!! not even me!! :)




On the way home, Griswold decided he wanted to drive, it was quite hilarious! It looked like he was actually steering, and was very focused on the road.

Oh and by the way, some of you haven't been leaving any comments, and I would really like to hear from you. You know who you are, Maureen. :)
